Dedicated Media Remover/Trommel

This machine is designed to remove cleaning media (e.g. Corn Cob) from ammo cases.  It features a 30 gallon hopper which feeds a five sided rotating Trommel.   The feeder ramp and Trommel is designed so you do not have to pre-screen the media before loading the hopper.  The Trommel cage is 4ft long and 14" in diameter.  The Trommel screens have two separate sized slots.   The first section of Trommel has laser-cut slots remove the majority of the media, which is directed into a 17 gallon tote.  The second section has laser cut slots to remove any 22 LRs that may have been missed by your sorting process. Any 22 LRs and remaining media falls out as the cases progress through the length of the rotating Trommel screens and are fed into a second tote. After exiting the Trommel the cases are directed into two 5-Gallon Buckets or Totes.  The cover includes a standard vacuum port to remove fine, airborne dust particles created from the media.

This machine can also be used as a pre-screening machine much like my Steel Remover/Trommel. where the first part of the Trommel removes dirt, powder, and residue that is smaller than a 22 LRs, and the second part of the Trommel removes the 22lrs.   

Both the hopper feed rate and rotational speed/case flow of the Trommel cage are adjustable. The machine has a throughput of ~1.5 - 2 gallons/minute.
