Inspector II

To automate the enviable manual sorting of specific cases, I created a machine I called the "Inspector".   

It is designed to partially automate the manual sorting that is eventually needed to separate Nickel cases, bad cases, .357 Sig from .40s, aluminum cases, etc. 

Running the .40s though it you can easily pick out the embedded 9mm cases.   It can also use it for final inspection of the cases and to feed the cases onto a scale for counting.   

This machine is a real time saver for any manual separating and inspection of  cases.

With the latest version, I added holes in the ramp, right above the base, to catch any dirt, or cleaning media that was not separated.

The machine also includes is a foot pedal to pause the machine when pressed.
